Living-Learning Community

The Honors Program, in collaboration with Residential Life, hosts a Living-Learning Community located in UMKC’s Oak Street Residence Hall. As UMKC's longest-standing residential community, the Honors Annex provides a dedicated wing where high-achieving students life, socialize, and study together. This close-knit community offers a supportive environment where it's easy to find study partners and lifelong friends right outside your door. Residents benefit from having fellow Honors students as their Resident Assistants (RAs) because they provide a model for balancing high-level academic rigor with a fulfilling social life.
